Assistant Director of Compliance (Compliance Specialist 2)
The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Compliance within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This full-time position will report to the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and assist with the daily operations of the Athletics Compliance Office.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Managing and refining institutional monitoring systems
- Assisting with a comprehensive rules education program
- Review and approval of student-athlete promotional activities and donation requests
- Managing Departmental use of the ARMS platform
- Researching and drafting waiver requests and violation reports and other duties as assigned
This position typically requires a bachelor's degree and two (2) plus years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of experience working in a Division I compliance operation and a Master's Degree or Juris Doctorate is highly desired. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the areas of technology, presentation skills, and professional writing.
