Media Consultant

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution, is seeking candidates for the position of Media Consultant. Primary responsibilities include:
  • Directing and coordinating live video board events in our sports venues
  • Providing technical setup assistance to video directors/coordinators for video board and live streaming productions
  • Producing athletic video features, commercials and promotional spots, etc. for LED display playback
  • Providing basic maintenance, regularly scheduled software updates and simple repairs to production equipment
  • Supervise/manage/train/recruit up to 75 part-time employees and production interns


Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of sports directing, associate producing, associate directing, basic video engineering, technical directing, camera operations, video operations, and graphic operations is preferred.

This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
