Assistant Boy's Basketball Coach- St. Anthony Catholic High School

Position Summary
St. Anthony Catholic High School is seeking an Assistant Boy's Basketball Coach. The Assistant Boy's Basketball Coach assists the Head Basketball Coach in growing the basketball teams into competitive programs. Position teaches and coaches with the mission of St. Anthony Catholic High School and our Core Values of Honesty & Integrity; Community; Service & Social Justice; Scholarship; Holistic Education.

This position is considered a "Responsible Employee" under Title IX federal regulations and "Mandatory Reporter" under Texas state law and the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy. As a Mandatory Reporter, this position requires you as the employee to promptly report any incident that you witness or receive information about violating Title IX. These reporting responsibilities are set out in the UIW Sexual Misconduct Policy.

Essential Functions

Job Duties

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
-Possess effective coaching techniques and skills;

-Thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies and techniques of Basketball;

-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, teachers, parents and students;

-Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.

Required Education
High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Required Work Experience
-Two (2) years of basketball coaching experience. Note that college playing experience may substitute for coaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications
-Bachelors Degree;

-Experience as a player at a collegiate or professional level.

Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations
-Must have CDL (Commercial Drivers License) or obtain CDL before November 30, 2021;

-Valid Texas drivers license with the ability to be insured through UIWs vehicle insurance carrier.
