The Associate AD, Administration will oversee the human resource and payroll operations for the department and all department equity, diversity and professional development programming for staff.This position includes Sport Supervision of multiple sports, as assigned and will serve as the staff liaison to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee human resource operations for the department, represent athletics and serve as department liaison to University Office of Human Resources; maintain coaches employment agreements; oversee annual performance management program (PMP) for the department; oversee annual performance management program for the department; oversee and coordinate searches for open positions within the department; coordinate onboarding process for new employees and exit process for departing staff.

Serve as sport administrator for designated sports. Foster an environment and provide support for high academic success, retention, and athletic achievement of student-athletes.

Supervise the Payroll Preparer for the Department.

Work closely with University General Counsel to ensure execution of coaches employment agreements, game contracts.

Represent the department on various NCAA, America East Conference, and campus committees.

Responsible for managing and updating Athletics Department policy and operations manuals.

Liaison to Student-Athlete Advisory Committee; oversee student-athlete exit interviews for the department.

Work closely with Associate Athletic Director for Business on preparation of annual budgets for department salaries and fringe benefits expenses.

Lead department equity & diversity initiatives.

Coordinate internal professional development programming for staff.

Plans and executes initiatives and special projects as directed by the Athletic Director. Ensures that all special projects are actively moving forward my monitoring assigned personnel and programs.
