Hockey Director

Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division I and Big Ten Conference Institution, is seeking a Hockey Director for the Pegula Ice Arena that will create, implement, operate, administer, and evaluate the youth, student, and adult hockey program.

Primary responsibilities will be:

Oversee the learn to play hockey program
In-house hockey program
The Student Hockey league
Coordinate hockey tournaments for the facility
Work with the marketing manager of the facility to implement a marketing and promotions strategy for the program
Liaison with the local amateur and hockey associations
Develop and implement on and off ice specialty programs and clinics
Hire, train, and evaluate the hockey staff of the facility
Management and oversight of the facility's hockey budget

This job will be filled as a level 3 or level 4, depending on the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for level 3.

This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required.
